PerkinElmer supplies rectangular spacers made of either lead or teflon. These spacers come in a variety of thicknesseses, allowing you to customize the Universal Demountable Cell's path length to the experiment's requirements. Also available is a packet of Assorted Rectangular Spacers (L1270421) which includes two of each type of spacer. Please note: When rectangular windows and spacers are used, the Universal Demountable Cell becomes a Semi-Demountable Cell.

RF Coil Silver for Agilent (Varian) 700-ES Series Radial ICP-OES. Compatible with Agilent (Varian) 700-ES Series Radial ICP-OES. The RF coil is susceptible to corrosion in the torch box, which eventually lowers the conductivity of the coil. The greater the corrosion, the larger amount of energy is needed to produce a plasma of the same power. Coils in a corroded condition, increases the stress applied to other components in the RF generating system, and can shorten the lifetime of your torch. Copper is used as the base material of most commercially available coils but different plating materials are available. Silver has the best conductance & gold the best corrosion resistance. The baffled, cyclonic Twister spray chamber has a central transfer tube, which acts as a secondary particle separator, helping separate larger aerosol particles from the sample. This reduces solvent load in the plasma without compromising detection limits. The position of the baffle is carefully controlled to ensure smooth draining and improved precision. The baffle is cut at a sharp angle so that a large cross-section of the spray chamber is sampled, ensuring representative sampling and reduced matrix effects. Although this spray chamber isn't hydrofluoric acid-resistant, precision is considered excellent and purity is considered good.
